ALL STUDENTS - This needs your attention

Effective IMMEDIATELY - If you have an in-house activity, and there is a test that day, you MUST come to class for the test (we will let you leave right after the test)!  If you don't, it's a ZERO!  If you have a game or a field trip on the day of a test, you must take it on an earlier day (either after school or at lunch - no more making up tests during class time).  If you don't, it's a zero.

You know that Mrs. Curbelo and I would do ANYTHING to support you...and that we have really been trying to work around your schedule the last few weeks to facilitate your needs...but we just can't do it anymore.  So just as we make YOU and YOUR LEARNING a priority, you need to make YOUR LEARNING a priority.

Know that we love you...ALWAYS!

Extra credit, BTW, for anyone that can tell me which syntactical structure I used :)

  1. You used chiasmus when you said "  So just as we make you and your learning a priority, you need to make your learning a priority." because in the second half if the sentence you balanced it with the first but with the parts reversed.

  2. You used conjunction because you used but, so and that.
